I don't know the score, have no idea what is going on in that game. I will pick Kansas City.

Nice try, panzade, but no dice. I let gus get away with correcting his omission because right after he posted Karl Rove and Tom Delay called me to atest to gus' integrtity.
We lost bbaptiste again this week and now ray. I will try to lure them back.
Through the early games, gus and panzade are at 8-1. (johnboy is sad about the Steelers). dragon and fbaeazer are doing okay.
Back later.

12 games down in week six. And we see see gus and pan at 10-2. johnboy and fbaezer at 9-3 and then it goes down from there. All of os have picked Seattle tonight and Indy tomorrow night so it will come down to the tiebreaker re the number of points. Panzade says 43, Gus says 51. What do I do if it is 47?

Indeed, child, but you must share the limelight for picking Jacksonville with george. He made the same choice.
Both of yall stumbled a bit in the other games but...

that's a tad extreme...
aren't these things usually decided by whoever's closer without going over?

I never knew about the "without going over" concept re the tiebreaker. We are sticking with the whomever is closer this week and will hope that the score is not 47. We can revisit the issue for week #7. Your suggestions would be welcome.

So Week #6 ends with us, as a group, doing very well. Wins minus losses at +62, beating out +61 in Week #4. Either we are getting smarter or else this was an easy pickings week.
Gus and Panzade led the way at 12-2. Gus wins based on his higher guess in what turned out to be a very high scoring game. 73 points in total.
At 11-3 were Johnboy and Fbaezer.
Dragon finished at 10-4; Cowdoc, El-diablo and Child of Light ended at
9-5 and Region, Jpinmilw, George and Liontamerx came in at 8-6.

The experts on ESPN ranged from 7-7 to 11-3.

Cumulative Wins minus Losses through Week #6 show Panzade (+28); Gus and Cowdoc (+22) and Region (+18). In the next level are Child (+14), Johnboy (+12) and Dragon (+10). And then there is Lion (+8), Bbaptiste (+7), George and El-diablo (+6) and then Jpin Milw (even), Fbaezer (-2) and Ray (-4).

Week #7 coming up later.

Week #7 starts with an easy one. But then it gets tough.

Sunday, Oct 23rd:
1 pm ... Indy (6-0 for the season) @ Houston (0-5)
Pitts (3-2) @ Cincy (5-1)
Detroit (2-3) @ Cleveland (2-3)
San Fran (1-4) @ Wash (3-2)
Green Bay (1-4) @ Minn (1-4)
KC (3-2) @ Miami (2-3)
New Orleans (2-4) @ St Louis (2-4)
San Diego (3-3) @ Philly (3-2)
4 pm ... Dallas (4-2) @ Seattle (4-2)
Tenn (2-4) @ Arizona (1-4)
Denver (5-1) @ NY Giants (3-2)
Baltimore (2-3) @ Chicago (2-3)
Buffalo (3-3) @ Oakland (1-4)
Monday night:
NY Jets ( (2-4) @ Atlanta (4-2)

No Sunday night game according to ESPN. Probably has something to do with the baseball schedule. Johnboy issues the standard plea: check to be sure all 14 games have been predicted and guess the total number of points in the Monday night game. New players are always welcome and I will go off to nag Bbaptiste and Ray.
