Btw, you don't have to be a right miserable git to be an atheist, Edgar's an atheist and he's a really nice bloke. The problems you're having have got absolutely nothing to do with atheism, and everything to do with being a dick.

You seem to think any degree of criticism is harmful while I disagree n look at shades of gray even with sick ppl. I respect their intellect and humanity by telling them what I think and as is. You, on the other hand, use the oldest cliché of the dumb left, you indulge n insult through positive discrimination. Got news for ya, the douche ain't me pal. If anything can vouch for my character that is real world people around me, n on that topic you know zilch. I don't have a problem with criticism, but if you know someone is having a bad time and has mental health issues it's best to leave them alone. It's not like the person in question is overtly racist, homophobic or fascistic in which case fair enough, but he's just a bit miserable.

I'm not bothered about what people believe or disbelieve anyway. I'm not preachy.

I empathize with them in my own way but I won't try to sell you that with more ranting. I have a 90% loss of vision and I play War Thunder Star Citizen and other competitive fast games well enough...I don't expect special treatment.

PS - My ongoing depression with Humankind as a species is invisible to those close to me. I own them that much.

I've never heard of War Thunder Star Citizen, but it does sound like it was named in China.

Good old days with space invaders...first time I saw it I was 4 and was in Spain for an eye surgery to avoid losing my 2 eye vision. I thought I was in Heaven n back then no need for 16 plus to get on an Arcade house. My mom indulged me. Oh boy did I play the hell out of that machine.
Most people don''t have an idea what is a 90% eye sight loss... it is bad but not terrible. Imagine like you have approximately VGA resolution vision 640 pixels...You lose detail but still see more then shadows.

I think it's fairly obvious, or do you think calling someone a **** bird is the height of civility?

I'm all for throwing insults at fascists, racists, bigots and Pompey supporters but that's about it. If I find someone annoying who isn't a fascist, racist, bigot or Pompey supporter I just ignore them.

With mental illness you don't know how close to the edge they may be, and I don't want to be the one who pushes them over. I have to sleep at night, and it's a risk I don't want to take..
