If all you wanted to do was say Kerry stinks and I love GWB, why didn't you just do so outright?

I thought political debate was that and that only in this forum.

He-man Bush? That just about sums it up. And I haven't seen any Democratic noses headed down the street lately but I'll keep my eye peeled (ouch!)

Let me see if I have your position right:

-Bush's administration doesn't support adequate funding for Vet's
services but somehow it's Kerry's fault.

-Kerry should personally pay the Vet Shelter's electric bill.

-Bush is a 'he-man'

You have made very nice contributions on poetry threads.
I'm sorry I can't say the same about this silly thread.

Or, JJorge, if Rove is as smart as we fear he is, he might get Bush to go there personally (and with media in tow), pay the electric bill, and then claim, "Ich bin ein vet."

Because Kerry is seen as such a formidable contender against Bush you can bet there will be a determined effort to drive up his negative poll numbers, ie. to 'define' him negatively in the minds
of potential voters who don't as yet have a formed opinion of him.

Rove is certainly a very clever political strategist and tactitian. However, such a dramatic move as you imagine could backfire on the Bush administration if it resulted in a greater scrutiny of the gap between Bush's pro-military rhetoric and his disappointing support of veterans.

Issue:

Vet's homeless shelter in Boston will close Wednesday if light bill is not PAID. Due=More than $100,000

Facts:

Kerry has contributed $0.00 to the shelter to pay the light bill.

Kerry is married to a billionaire heir.

Why won't Kerry give money to the homeless Vet shelter?

Answer: Either he's plain "tight" or he plain doesn't care! Very Happy

Fact - the bill has nothing to do with Kerry personally.

New Haven - linking someone's personal behaviour and political position is something that I have seen many people indicate is not appropriate on threads where people are reviewing the current president. It is no more appropriate here.
