@patiodog,
I don't hate the Vikings but it'd be fun to see the Packers doing really well -- I've seen maybe half of one game thus far this season.

Brett's continuing downfall would've been depressing though (if not surprising).

Of the many weak links on the Vikes this year Childress does seem to be one of the weakest.

Have the Packers ended an old guy's career for the second consecutive game?

I hope so.

@sozobe,

Brent will now attempt to latch onto a contender.
hey, the Pates could prolly use a 3rd string veteran QB...

This could be the end of the line...

"The 41-year-old was crushed by Bills linebacker Arthur Moats on his first pass play of the game. The pass was intercepted by Drayton Florence"

stick a fork in old Brent, I think he's done...

@Rockhead,
This appears to be the ugly ending that really was inevitable. I'm just glad he's done everything possible the past three years to make me unable to feel sorry for him.

Also, the Pack is looking good. The Bears? Well, they're cute I guess.

@Gargamel,
That's a really good way to put it. Three years ago this would've broken my heart. Now, it makes me sad, but then I read the article about him pacing the sideline trying to go back in -- when Tarvaris Jackson was doing a good job -- and I just think "give it up, Brett. Time to go."

Sigh.

@sozobe,

Brent will commence a week-long "shoulder knowledge" program so he can learn to throw lefthanded,
thus keeping the streak in tact next sunday... Rolling Eyes

@Region Philbis,
Ya think Brett is taking it as a personal favor that the Metrodome collapsed and the game will be played Monday, or maybe later...?

@sozobe,

most definitely.
they'll prolly tape him up (and shoot him up?) so he can take a few snaps in the 1st quarter, then take him out for the rest of the game...

Today's loss might be the best argument there is for Rodgers as MVP. No Rodgers, lose 7-3 to the Lions. Ouch.

On November I was pretty sure I didn't need to do this, but now I'm asking Santa: A playoff spot for the Packers, please!

@fbaezer,
Boy, you're asking a lot. They gotta play the Giants and the Bears to get in? Hmmm

Playing the Giants could be tough; the Bears aren't ****. Both games are at Lambeau.

Could be worse.
