Klassy.

(The officialing did suck though, in the first half anyway. Guess it was partly Chilly's fault for not challenging that second Packers TD.)

Yeah, but did you see how fast the kicking unit got out there for the PAT? Great job by GB staff...

@patiodog,
That's true. It was all kind of a blur, and by the time you were really looking at the replays and saying "hey!" it was too late.

I didn't care at the time (the Lambeau Leap made me too happy) but with the final score so close, it bothers me retroactively. Oh well.

So, I expect that the election of Ron Johnson to the senate karmically ensures that the Packers will not win a game for the next six years.

@patiodog,
Yeah.

Stupid Wisconsin.

(Russ Feingold voters excepted.)

@sozobe,
There was a heavily-run anti-Feingold ad where they drudged up a soundbite or two where Feingold was referred to as a "maverick," then claimed that he's a strictly party line guy. But who was the one senator to vote against the patriot act?

Eh, whatever. NFC north is wide open for the taking, Minnesota's locker room is in shambles, Bears are -- well, the Bears... No reason they shouldn't take the division, and maybe most everybody is healthy by playoffs. Didn't see the Jets game, but the score sure makes it look like the D came through in spite of being heavily short-handed.

Damn it's nice to watch the Packers without suffering seventeen heart attacks.

Best. Game. Ever.

@Gargamel,
Missed the game, damn it all to hell. But I certainly sympathize with the sentiment.

I came home and said: "Now I'm gonna watch how the Packers are smashing the Pederast Cowboys!". Turned the TV on, 38-7. Big laugh. Then I saw the sorry Cowboys give the ball twice to the Packers. The second time, Green Bay thought Dallas had had enough. Not for my tastes. 52-7 would have been sweeter -and according to the commentators, fairer.

@fbaezer,
I missed the game, too. Busy employing poor practices to trim damaged tree limbs from atop a precariously positioned ladder -- which would have been analogous to a Packer game most other weeks...

If the Bears win today, they will be tied with Green Bay for first in the division.

@wandeljw,
And yet I'm rooting for the Bears, the lesser threat.

@patiodog,
Thanks. Figured that or CBS -- Browns on CBS.

It's not on Fox here, though.

But not even another game! It's some STUPID Nicholas Cage movie. WTF????

I really wanted to see this one. Not in the mood to go to a bar though (plus was planning to fold a rather vast mountain of laundry while watching).

@sozobe,
Well, it wasn't as close as the score suggests. And the score wasn't close, either.

Not much of a game to watch unless you really hate the Vikings. (Chants of "Fire Childress! Fire Childress!")
