Oh my goodness.

At least it's green.

Look at his expression -- too much of it is self-inflicted for me to be completely sympathetic, but that guy's hurtin'.

Enjoy learning a new offense as you scramble for dear life behind a flimsy offensive line!

I thought "scramble for your life" WAS part of the GBP offense (though not necessarily because of the line...)...

Last year's runner up for MVP threw 15 of 22 for 194 yards, 2 touchdowns and 0 interceptions... for a quarterback rating of 125.94. Thanks a lot Ted Thompson, you friggin idiot.

Did losing Favre turn any of you cheeseheads away from the Packers?

@sublime1,

Good to see you. Yes... but not this one. I did find myself rooting for the Jets with similar energy today though.

I swear, there's more man-love for Brett Favre in WI than there was for Jordan in Chicago when I lived there...

@Gargamel,
Can't believe Rodgers didn't convert on 1st and 33. What a douche.

(Seriously, though, draw plays? McCarthy's working too hard to protect the kid.)

@patiodog,
The kid played a hell of a game. Three first downs with his feet and a rushing touchdown is pretty damned impressive while throwing 18 of 22 for 178 yards, 1 TD and no interceptions for a QB rating of 115.53. Frankly, it was a fantastic first start and the rest of the Pack looked really good as well.

Disclaimer: None of the above should be interpreted as cause to consider Ted Thompson any less of an idiot.

@OCCOM BILL,
Hmm.

Maybe I'll have to watch a game after all.

(Haven't watched a single NFL game yet this season.)

@sozobe,
My glass is more than half full. This weekend; I enjoyed watching Brett and the Packers kick some ass... just not at the same time. Wink
Go Packers!
Go Jets!

You would have enjoyed watching Blackmon return one to the house! You'd also have enjoyed watching Roger's make his first leap!

I took Rodgers as my QB in the Fantasy Football game. Looking good, so far.

If Mr. Thompson gets similar results this year without paying Brett's salary...

...well, he wouldn't be a moron.

Too bad it's just the Lions, because the kid is looking pretty good again.
