I generally enjoy wearing socks on both of my feet. I find that they keep my feet warm and protected while providing a soft and comfortable padding on which I stride. I have many different socks for different shoes. I enjoy Thorlo Lt. Hikers as my go to sock of choice. They are padded where they need to be and flat wear your shoe may rub to provide comfort and safety. The Thorlo Heavy Hiker is also a good sock for when I wear my boots. I just wish they were longer and go higher on my calf.

I purchased a 6 pack of Under Armor black athletic socks and they were a bad investment. The were not comfortable and tended to slip. I've recently traveled and that required that I purchase a pair of knee high compression socks for the airplane ride. Those were excellent socks. The compression really was comfortable.

I hope you're wearing more than socks. Doesn't it ever get chilly where you are?

Sometimes it gets ridiculously cold. I do generally try to conform to society's standards of dress. Pants, shirts, boxer-briefs (a completely different post), yo know, the typical stuff. But socks I consider the one thing that I can control.

Ah shoes. Believe it or not, I have 3 pairs of shoes and my wife absolutely refuses to EVER go shoe shopping with me.

I have these shoes: Merrell Jungle moc's, Rockport Elkhart boots (the finest pair of shoes I have ever owned and bought an extra pair so when my current ones wear out I will have another pair waiting) and a pair of Columbia winter boots (I believe it is a "bugaboot").

I used to own a pair of "dress" shoes but have since decided that I don't care what my shoes look like to others, I want to be comfortable.

My cousin works for Rockport. I think she's a buyer (?). Swears by her own product. Good to see others feel the same.

I love to wear Sarees on occassion like wedding, parties and on festivals. Saree is a traditional attire of Indian women. It is most beautiful attire which looks awesome on every Indian women
