I think Frankin is a liberal doofus, but he was a comedian on a comedy show before getting into politics. I don't think previous employment should have too much influence over his abilities to do his job.

No self-respecting comedian would ever allow himself to be photographed like that. Oliver Hardy was never phographed like that, Stan Laurel was never phographed like that, W.C. Fields was never photographed like that, Fatty Arbuckle was never photographed like that, Bud Abbot was never photographed like that, Lou Costello was never phographed like that, Rodney Dangerfield.....

There have been a lot of comedians since the 1920's...
