Danon,

Believe I'll weather the storm and with any luck purchase a new Polaris so me and the herd can head out for higher ground. Did I say luck?
Hmmm, Montana or Idaho sounding pretty good for relocation states.

Little Will won't be traveling with us though. Kitten transcended earlier
this morning very peacefully.
<I work with the most wonderful people on the planet>
Preparing a lovely area in the garden for him near the house. He was a sweet kitten who never ventured more than a few feet from the porch, and i've found the perfect resting place for his little face.

Have our hopes and dreams changed so much, or are we receiving said
in ways we could never have imagined. I believe we're all right where we're supposed to be.

You'll have to ask me tomorrow where that might be though - because today, I haven't a clue. LOL

Aaaahhhh,
Stradee, don't worry yourself, three feet won't mean THAT much to ALMOST all the world - only a very few places will be affected - comparatively speaking.

And, of course we are ok and where we are supposed to be - it's all history now. One would have to be a time traveler to change the perception that all's not the way it's supposed to be. But - - - - - just imagine - - - - - a fantasy, where things are different.............. wouldn't that be something?

Before anyone sez anything - yes, that's me in the avatar........ c'67 I'm about 20 lbs more now.

I like a guy who can translate square feet into acres! Thanks, Danon. So that's you under that big hat? I had no idea we had such a handsome guy with us. <batting eyelashes>

Stradee -- Really sorry to hear that you had to bury a little kitty today. <hugs> These animals creep into our hearts.

No problem Piffka, re the translating SQ FT into ACRES.
I'm really glad to do it..!!!!

Yes, that photo was taken in the basement of the dorm building I lived in while I was enrolled in Infantry Officer Candidate School Training at Fort Benning School for Boys, Georgia in 1967. It was verrrry entertaining....... Then, we became advanced Officer Candidates and things became a lot better - most graduated - one of my close friends elected not to become an officer during the last week of training. He told me that he did not want to be responsible for ordering men to die in battle. I respected that, and he's still my friend. ((Well, there were many things typed after this - but I deleted it all. It just never fits. Nothing deadly - just dreary in retrospect.))

Wow--Dannon is a hottie!!!

Stradee, sympathies going out to you and your sweet little kittie. Sounds like Little Will had a lovely life staying close to home and close to Stradee.

Where is Sumac? I was hoping to thank her 'in person' for clicking for me while Dys and I were away.

Awww Diane, I'm really at the age now that I can say Thank You....... Thank You.!!!!!

That just reminded me of something I saw on TV today - it was a movie, I already forgot the name of it - there was a scene with a young woman in a wet "T" shirt, no bra - and I read the words on her "T" shirt!!!!!!!!!! Hmmmmmmm!!!!

Thanks Danon, Diane, and Piffka,

Will was a wonderfully sweet kitten. Peaceful now, but the rest of the herd noticably upset and grieving. Plan a quiet evening with treats and lots of smooches for their faces.

I sent a note to sumac today, but haven't received a response from her as of yet. Hope all is well!

Danon, you are a cutie, guy. Now how on earth did you manage flight school with females admirers hovering after you? Don't answer that Smile

ehBeth, the-stat-wizard-lady, thanks

Have a good evening all ~

Hi, everyone...

It's a weird time of year for me, so I'm doing my clicking at strange times of the day and night and don't always feel like posting, but I'm here.

Stradee...
I'm so sorry about Will. I know from what you've shared of him with us in the past what a beautiful little soul he was. You gave him a rich life full of so much love...My heart goes out to you and the herd.

danon...
Patti's a brave woman letting you post pictures of yourself looking like that on the Internet... (Interesting story you posted re the history behind it.)

All clicked!!

Stradee,
Flight school was a lot of fun for me - I really loved to fly. The after hours at the "O" Club was fun too. In those days - yes, there were a lot of girls going to the club to meet the young officers. But, it was totally above board and straight forward meetings. At least in my case.

Matrix,
Patti doesn't know about the pic. But she wouldn't mind. There have been many miles trod since the pic was snapped.

Hi Matrix, thanks so much for your kind words.

Will was the dearest kitten, with the sweetest voice and the most expressive eyes! Well, he captured my heart from the moment he chose me and the herd for his adoptive family four years ago, almost to the day! Quite amazing how each life transpires, and yesterday a chapter that included my families lives with much love and affection peacefully transcended. The herd and I will miss Will dearly.

Danon, Miramar says different, but who's listening. LOL

Nah, only kidding. Flight school serious business, and who knows better than Patti Very Happy

Have a good day all ~

That's a good size for me ehBeth..... We seem to be clicking along very well. I'm glad the pace we set is being kept up. That means we are a genuinely concerned group of Wildclickers. Pats on the back for all.........

Yeah, Stradee, there were some very wild times had by all in those clubs. The club at Mother Rucker had airplanes sitting out front as bingo prizes - along with what looked like about a 25 ft cabin cruiser. Corvettes were door prizes. Ahh, those were the days.

Piffka, a rec'd your PM - I'll get back with you.
