So...there's this girl...
We go to the same class. We're both 20. She is the prettiest girl I've ever known and we really like each other (as friends).
We met about 3 months ago. At first I was going to make a move on her, but I quickly found out that she had a boyfriend so I decided to move on. And I would, but one thing keeps me from it. We have talked hundreds of times, I've heard numerous stories about her friends, cousins, parents, grandparents, even great grandparents and not a single one about her boyfriend. She never mentioned him, not even once. Also, whenever I knew she was talking about him, she always avoided the word "boyfriend" or saying his name, always reffering to him as a "person" or "someone". I'm pretty sure that she's not hiding him from other friends, just me. She has no idea that I know of his existence. Does anyone know what it could mean? I see one logical explanation to this - she's hiding him so I don't get scared away and make a move so she can dump him and be with me, but it seems very unlikely. I'm really confused now.

She's having a side thing with you but has you in the Friend Zone.
I wonder why this all doesn't bother you. Shes either free to date or not. Speak up and ask about the BF.
Drop out if she has one. You don't need the complication.
