It seems to me that "live" should be removed. "Us" don't live in the Oval Office. Trump works in it, not lives in it.

What do you guys think.

Because you're confusing two words with the same spelling the i is a long vowel sound not a short one. It's not pronounced the same as in pig but as in like.

The Who do not reside in Leeds, they played a live gig in Leeds, as opposed to a studio album.
