Quote:Doctor Says Disorder Makes Patients Have Sex During Sleep
POSTED: 8:57 am EDT October 14, 2004
CANBERRA, Australia -- An Australian doctor said one of his patients has a disorder that led her to have sex with strangers while she slept.
On the face of it, it looks like an example of an increasingly common disorder in the health/mental health fields - I call it "making up stupid quack diagnoses and disorders disorder".
Or MUSQDADD.
The problem with this is that therapists start to treat a disorder instead of a patient.
If she is asleep and some one comes into the room and has sex with her, isn't that rape? Something is missing here.
