I am very interested in learning latin, unfortunatly I live in the a small town In Tennessee, where no adaquate teacher can be found, other than books, which are rather diffcult to understand on a beginners level does anyone have a suggetion as to where I might find some assistance?

The books I'm using in my intro Latin class at the moment are really nice and easy to understand - it's a three-book series called the Oxford Latin Course or something like that. I don't know that there's a way to learn Latin besides reading books or being taught. It's not like you can turn your TV to the Latin Channel or something like that.
