"God my leader the sword my companion".
Thanks a heap.

The literal translation with nouns in their English order would be "Deus dux meus, gladius comes meus," but the repetition of meus at the end of each phrase sounds awkward in Latin. You could avoid this (and still make sense) by inverting the order of the nouns: "Dux meus Deus, comes meus gladius," ("My leader (is) God, my companion (is) the sword") but meus rhyming with Deus right next to it would also sound awkward (though "Deus meus" = "my God" is found in the Latin Bible). "Deus mihi dux, gladius mihi comes ("God (is) to me leader, sword (is) to me companion") would sound better (and perfectly natural in Latin) while leaving both nouns in their original English order. You could say it other ways, but these IMO are the simplest, most direct and best ones (especially the last).
