You are profoundly wrong on that one.

I go along with everybody as long as they don't insult me for no reason.

I tolerate even the most extremist ideas, provide that they are harmless to humans.

Regarding Frank, I don't mind him coming back, treating people decently.

Hawkeye10 has found a new home on that same site.

I think Frank has been going back and forth on that forum, he first registered there in 2008. I registered and have been checking it out. It seems pretty active.

Oh darn, even though I won't miss the phony patois, I won't miss the irritant. RIP 'Layman', gone and forgotten.

I'm getting more worried re FBM; hope he's fine.
Also getting antsy about farmerman not posting, though I think he recovered from his illness. He's probably working. I miss him when he's not around.

@ossobuco,
I now have to rethink my entire diet . Ive just suffered a pretty serious pancreatitis caused by a very angry gall bldder that was filled with "broken rocks and "SLUDGE " (medical science's term ,not mine).
Im on a transition to a basically fat free diet.
The good thing about this weeks journey to a major hospital was that everything that could be biopsied, was , and was found to be ok for a 65 year old vessel. (Seems that the technological breakthroughs of medical imaging have made radical changes in medical ethics) basically, "if we even see a hint of something on an image we have the responsibility to follow it up as far as we can and to pass that information on to the specialties that may become involved"

@ehBeth,
Ill prolly start a thread about "living the light diet life".
My pancreatitis, now resolved, was serious. People DIE from pancreatitis even without cancer. I need to shed about 25 lb (Ive already lost 20 from this).
Ive gotta do so much that Im already bushed thinking a bout it, and So I think Ill go take a nap.
BZZZZT (ahhh). They have me hooked up with "milliamps"

@farmerman,
Congrats on your recovery from pancreatitis. Keep up the good work. Changing a diet even when highly motivated is no small feat. Eventually ..after a few months low-fat diet becomes a little easier to adhere to.

I've a friend that had a worse reaction to ice cream and milk fats..but he could have had lactose intolerance on top of all that pancreas issue.

Also, I know of one guy in his early 40s and another in late 50s with pancreatitis. Not sounding like something anyone should wish on their worst enemy. Modern medical science is great and has come a long way. I can attest to that (won't bore those that have heard it many times before). Feels good being vertical.
