LOST & MISPLACED A2K people.

Two major reasons I wont be on FB in the near future (or at least as long as I still practice)
1I rely on a greater degree of confientiality and FB exploits your assumed confidentiality

2. My wife said it best that FB is too "nicey nice".


I think I can detect the measured responses of many on here who practice some craft that is licensed. (Kinda neat to see how some folks avoid revealing such stuff but are still able to handle the a'holes , of which we do have an abundance). I have to totally back off an just ignore (except in the case of a subject like evolution where , I know I shall never be an expert- opinion witness just because Ive got a nice rap sheet herein).

FB is like a sieve, A2K less so. ..."And Thats all I got to say about that"...-'F Gump.

@Panzade, there is only bickering with Lola's relatives in Texas - they're so darn tea party like. How can she live among these people?

Didn't he say something about doing prep work for moving to someplace off the grid in France?

I looked back to when they left and Lordy had said that they can stay as long as they like now.. maybe they're busy with a new abode while the weather is still good.

FYI, I won't be around for a couple weeks. Having surgery tomorrow, expect to be home on Wednesday evening and then a week or two recovery. Diane and my brother will keep people on Facebook updated. Surgery isn't until noon so updates won't be until 2 or 3pm at the earliest.

I am home and sore but ok, mom fell while I was in surgery and is now at rehab facility for at least a week. I had 4 large hernias repaired and look like a human pin cushion with 7 incisions on my belly. Couldn't do second half of surgery due to massive scar tissue that was trimmed down. 100 minute surgery turned into a 4 hour one. Will try again in 3 months after I've healed up from this one. This too shall pass. Still taking it very easy for a couple weeks.

It's good/not good news about your mom. Good that you don't need to care for her while you're in recovery. Not good that she fell.

Glad to read that you're OK. Sorry that your mom's had that bad luck but glad that she's being taken care of at rehab facility. Hope you both heal well and comfortably.

I've started it for the last time (I'm pretty sure). I thought it was already kaput, but just managed to get it going one last time.

I'll leave it running as long as possible, but I'll be taking a "technological leave of absence" pretty soon now.

If I *really* need to post, there is a computer that I can borrow, so I might still pop up if I hear something noteworthy in the news, but no one needs to worry if I suddenly vanish in a day or two.

I have one with a dying motherboard. New computer is here but I have too much schoolwork to do to be able to really set aside enough time to get everything transferred. So I feel ya. Remember to save your passwords/userids for your favorite sites (including A2K).
