Omg, that's so adorable and I wish you all the luck in the world with Alex and Alicia. My daughter was adopted from social services (foster care) and her middle name is Alicia.

You're doing such a good deed, you don't even know yet what an impact you'll have on their life.

Wow, there certainly are big changes ahead for your family. I hope all the transitions will go as smoothly as possible for all involved, and that there is much happiness and love in store for all of you.

I hope you will be able to drop into A2K long enough to to keep us posted on what's happening and how things are working out.

Indeed. I don't Largely because I mainly use it to communicate with A2k folk....but I have a few IRL friends friended there. I just contact them and explain who I am and why I am using a different name.

That's the way to go. I do use my real name because I sometimes use FB as a blog.

Thanks, folks, for the help. I'm assuming you can't have two accounts (as a person with one computer/internet provider. I think if I tried to contact someone I hadn't talked/emailed with for a decade as someone named ossobuco, there would be a quick refusal.
