he may think he was banned even if he wasn't. He's so used to being involuntary vacations from a2k he may think that the login problems he was experiencing was a banning. Iz and a couple other folks were blocked out at the same time he was. He just needs to do as Rob suggested and contact the help desk.
Wrote to Tak on facebook a little earlier explaining to clear his cache... hoping he will return soon.

Since this is the lost and misplaced thread, it would be nice if JTT could become lost and/or misplaced. This thread is certainly misplaced by the political rhetoric.
I hear what you're saying, George. But I've gotta say, I've come across similar from a number of other A2Kers, so .....
Certainly true, but I usually just ignore them. I know Tak and like him, so in this case it matters.

Hope you are successful in getting him to return . I had to clear out everything on my board last year when A2K was going through a minor burp in service and my cookies were mounting. Its not difficult to overcome if you have a good ISP and a decent set of spyware cleansers.
(i was not really officially part of the Chi-town gathering, more like private limo service with an old crappy truck)

That is a shame, Rockhead. You definitely deserve an A2K hat since you have done a lot of traveling on behalf of A2Kers. I have never left the city of Chicago but I did get an A2K hat!
