LOST & MISPLACED A2K people.

I'm OK. Thanks for thinking of me Letty. My internet was out for the last three days. Where I live the flodding is minimal. We have a flood wall to protect us from Mississippi river flooding. North of town, however the highway is closed due to flooding on the Little Maquoketa River. My son lives in Iowa City where they are experiencing flooding of biblical proportions just like Cedar Rapids. He was visiting Chicago and has been staying with us since yesterday. His house is fine, but all the roads are closed. I-80 has been rerouted through my town and the traffic is incredible.

This is unbelieveable. In Cedar Rapids the last flood record was set at 20' back in 1929. The Cedar River crested yesterday at 31.12'. Flood stage is 12'.
