Hello, my precious.
Lovely to see you again!
There are rumours that you have been absent for romantic reasons. I certainly hope this is the case!
Haven't seen Mame lately..

Mame surfaced this morning on the trivial & games thread "Post about the one before you" and made a couple of postings.

A few of us have been trying to make contact with lezzles, as we're very worried about her absence from A2K & also the lack of response to emails & PMs we've sent to her recently. You might remember she spent some time in hospital a while ago & was quite ill. The last we heard she'd returned home to recover & was posting here now & then, but was still quite unwell.
If anyone has been in contact with her recently could you please let us know?
Or if anyone knows of any other contact details could you contact me or Dutchy by PM as we've reached a dead end in our attempts to trace her.
Anyone?
I'm pleased to let you all know that "Lezzles" contacted me today, stating she is back on line after an extended hospital stay and computer breakdown. We wish you a complete recovery 'Lezzles".
Well, now THERE is good news, Dutchy...
Welcome back Prince Guatam. We always return back 'home'.
I been a busy birdie.
Just back from Hawaii and yes, I did jump out of a plane.
I am ready to be penned. Ooh loved being strapped to a man for my tandem jump, nice and tight!!! Asked if I had to pay extra.
Thanks for the update on Lezzles.
Heeven strapped to a man. Where's Kicky?
babe, that was the only way he couldn't get away from me!
wait ... ehbeth, how did you get a picture of me on the beach? have you been stalking me?
I borrowed Walter's camera with the extraordinary lens
I'm concerned about satt. Anyone heard from him? That quake in Japan and the nuclear reactor damage is something to worry about. (uhoh, JPB, there I go again)
emu, it's always good to see you, and Margo as well. Now I know where the expression cat fur to make kitten britches arose. Sorry about your troubles, however.
Dadpad?
(I know I haven't been around these parts for a wee bit, but I can't recall seeing him for a while ...)

Glad to know that satt is all right.
Hi everybody!!
Hope you are all well and happy. I am doing fine now although a couple of months ago I wouldn't have given much for my chances.
I managed to pick up a bladder infection which just sapped away all my strength. I even managed to get myself stuck on the toilet!! (Just did not have the strength to stand up.) Managed to get down onto the floor, hoping to crawl to a chair or something to haul myself up, but again, found that my get up and go had got up and gone. Hours later I was able to attract the attention of my next door neighbour and was soon rescued by the ambulance and taken to hospital.
Upon arrival I was hooked up for six days to this jazzy machine that blasts oxygen into you (four hours on, one hour off). They strapped on this face mask (reminiscent of Hannibal Lector's). One of the nurses described it (very accurately) as being like 'burning down the freeway at 200 klicks with your head stuck out of the window'.
What with this, the antibiotics and the steroids, at the end of this time I felt like a new man. Sadly, the doctor advised me I was in no condition for any kind of man, old or new, so I just had to lie there in bed until the physios started pummelling and making me walk. After a few weeks they sent me home and gradually I have been getting back into the swing of things.
Even before I was carted off to hospital I had been having so much trouble with my computer. It finally crashed in a big way and as I was so ill I really could not contend with the problem. I was speaking to one of my brothers on the phone about it and he gave me the name of a group that helps out with people such as myself. They have now supplied me with a new computer and at long last I am up and running once again.
I have been reading back through some of the threads, trying to catch up on what has been happening and I was very touched by all the expressions of concern as to my absence. Thank you all so very much, you will never know just how much I appreciate your kind thoughts. I greatly missed the "to'ing and fro'ing" of a2k.
Special thanks to Jespah for your help in getting me back on line.
Okay! So let's see who's character we are ripping to shreds today........
(Anyone recall the end of the movie 'The Burbs' where Corey Feldman delivers the line 'I love this street!' That's how I feel.)
love,
lezzles
Lezzles!
I am sooo glad to see you again.
