Perhaps you should start a thread of its own on the general board. That would reach members other than the regulars in this thread.

Letty, Olen died on May 25, 2007. If you want, I can send you a copy of the death notice.
Oh, my God, Miller. I am so sorry to hear that. I knew that he flew in the Pacific and European theaters during WWII, and I talked to him at length about the death of my brother. It's all right, honey. No need to send me the obit. I've been reading too many of those recently, but thank you.

I haven't seen or heard of/from John Garvey for a long time.
Margo dear girl, did you ever make it to Italy this year?? Have I missed something??

Just to let you know Mame contacted me today, is ok, out of town with no access to the internet.
I've been a'naggin' her, Clary...
let's give her a double nagging!
Just for information ossobuco and Clary, this is what Margo posted in the "Oneway to beat the anti smoking Police" thread:

I'm just back from 4 weeks in Italy.
I have to say that the smoking ban in restaurants made the trip so much more pleasant.
C'mon, France - you're pencilled in for next trip. Stop the smoking in restaurants!! (and those bloody dogs!)
Hold your dominions, non-smokers!
Thanks, Dutchy, but that's sooooooooooooo not enough!!!!
I'm neither lost nor misplaced, but I just discovered that I've been recently identified as deceased on that Seattle site. As Mark Twain famously said, those reports are much exaggerated. But it gave me a good laugh yesterday. (To the best of my knowledge, those reports are not true.)
My belated condolences to you Merry Andrew, and btw welcome back to the land of the living.
Anyone heard from Merry Andrew? Oops, there he is.
Seriously, haven't seen sturgis in a while.
I've been looking for Sturgis since before we went to NYC.
If anyone has been concerned, as I was, about the absence of Coluber, I've learned from him that he goes on-line at his local library about once a week.

EhBeth, Sturgis last posted on Sunday, 20th May, see the "Hey. is this yours" thread. No posts for over 4 weeks??
Yup. That's why I've been worried.
Joins line waiting for Sturgis....
Could Sturgis' absence be related to the rumor that he owes money to both Gus and Dys, a more menacing duo of creditors I cannot imagine.
JL, sturgis was on dialysis at one time, honey. That is why we are concerned. Hope it is just a debt to dys and Gus.
