hi, CI. Thanks for yourkind words.

My medical procedure was 6-hr hospital stay as they were 'just replacing' the defib/pacemaker they implanted 3.5 yrs ago. the batteries were close to their end (gulp) so they swapped out and put in a new unit. Now, I'm good for 5-6 yrs instead of only 3.5 yrs. The last model was good but too short a battery life. This all sounds scary (and it was), but I was out odf there with jsut a few stitches and sore incision under my collarbone/chest that is getting better each day. I only took 2 days off as I didn't need more.

That's my little bit of excitment. Too bad...I couldn't even get sympathy sex from my new g/f...can you imagine?

I've noticed that Firefly hasn't been around lately. She used to post regularly on the Trivia and Games forum. Anybody heard from her? Hope she's o.k.

What was minor was the incision...not the type that invites infection. I feel like someone who had a tooth extracted.

Sympathy to Ragman,

and yikes, you're right, Shivers has gone missing.

We need a Shivers Alert....

She does stop for months at a time, somewhat routinely, but now that I'm awake on it, it seems too long.

Let's gather a lookout group..
