the door cracks open and a head appears in anticipation...

"hey gang...I got a new puter!"

did I miss anything?

Where's my pal msolga?

This is such a weird coincidence. I was just thinking about how I have to go buy some new guitar strings, and that made me think maybe I'll start a thread about that, and that made me wonder what kind of a sick twisted mind might enjoy a thread like that...and then, of course, I thought, Panzade!...and then I thought, hey whatever happened to that bastard Panzade? So I raced over to this thread to post the question, "Hey whatever happened to that bastard Panzade?" and then, like magic, boom, here you are! You must be like my brother from another mother or something...congratulations on the new 'puter...now remember, break 'er in gently. No more than two hours of porn a night.

Where were you? Did you know the sun stopped shining for me while you were away?

The sun stopped shining, G?
Really? Surprised
Gosh! Very Happy
You're very nice to say that!
And so is Walter! Very Happy

Why?: I sort of went through quite a rough patch. Wasn't coping with "the demands of life" very well, I'm afraid. Ah well, these things happen, I guess? Confused

And now I'm writing a @!!*# job application for next year! Ugh! Nasty convoluted things they are! It's like doing an exam!

Panz & I have a little arrangement where we take it in turns to make an appearance here, Letty.
Tonight is my night.
I believe he's rostered for tomorrow, sometime?

Thanks for the welcome back, Letty & Deb.
(Not that it was a really long absence!)

Glad to see you back, Olga, but not glad to hear about the rough patch. I hope you find a good-paying, satisfying teaching position at a school that appreciates you.

It'd be rather nice to be appreciated, hey?

Soon I must return to the dreaded application. <sob>

Msolga, I too detest application forms of all kinds. I find that the best time to work on them is when there is nothing else I want to do. For me that is early in the morning. I force myself to wake up at a disgusting time, have a large cup of coffee or tea and sit down to the application form because it's too early for anything else. Also, my mind is energetic very early in the morning. Just a thought.

Thanks for the sympathy & advice, JL

Yep, been at it all day!

I've just finished the first draft. Now I feel like a brain dead hunch-backed person.

I've just sent it off to my good friend to proof read. Poor thing!

Now I think I'll have a glass of wine & wash the dishes! Very Happy

Hey, where's my friend, Amigo?

I would have thought he'd have plenty to say about the lastest voting results in the US. But nothing. Not that I've seen, anyway.

Off travelling & working again, maybe?

Good luck.
BTW, most hunch-backed people I know are very energetic.
