There is no doubt, that although both candidates had good talking points, it was Edwards who had the "charisma", for whatever that is worth.
Edwards looked and sounded like he came right out of central casting. Cheney, on the other hand, looked like a very bright but tired old grandfather. I don't know what effect this will have of the younger electorate, but the difference in appearance was very dramatic, IMO.

That was always one of my favorite skits. Can you imagine if those guys reunited for some political satire? They'd have so much material leading right up to the election.

Perhaps somewhere in the future we'll see a Canadian television sitcom called "Kerry's Heroes," where the Kerry camp (and the rest of Americans) will be in concentration camps in a new fascist America run by the Cheney Corporation.

In all fairness, I think Cheney won the debate. Edwards didn't answer a single question about himself (instead talked about Kerry and how great he was or even attacked the Bush admin) when asked, failed to follow instructions in a question (using Kerry's name twice) and interrupted Cheney when he was answering a question.
This isn't bias either because I thought Kerry won the first debate against Bush.
Baldimo, there is no serious debate allowed on the stupid funny pictures VP debate thread!!
