These days when i was reading National Geographic i have found that the huge lack of the volcabulary of the nouns and adjectives.
So i wanna open this section in order to learn words more interactive.

ok first. What's this in English?I see it everyday but ignore it all the time Confused

You may want to be more specific. From my perspective, you could be referring to a photograph, a building, a particular building, or an aspect of the building's design.

Yes, it's a simple plug, but the photo itself visually suggests creative interperetations. As I think this is a cool thread idea, how about we delve into the multiple meanings of "plug", to help out JB? Idioms are very hard for ESL students.

Okay, I know it's in the bathtub. My offer is this....a 'plug' is also known in English as a legally approved advertisment for a project, product or service by a media icon. Sometimes one can get free plugs, if they sweet-talk the source providing them.

Oops Smile ...this particular kind of plug is used to stop the water from draining out of a bathtub or a sink.

Also, when a toilet, sink or bathtub does not drain properly it is known as being "plugged up."
