Quake Activity on the San Andreas Fault

Noting Friday's activity at Mt. St. Helens, I accessed the USGS page that reports earthquakes... to discover that there have been DOZENS of miniquakes FRIDAY in the area of the recent biggie from a few days ago.
The actual number of quakes is indeterminable from the graphs, but it appears as if there were more than thirty on Friday alone!

It's as if there's some significant slippage going on... but none of the Mt. St. Helens reportage refers to the phenomenon.
Gotta love our News media...
