]Man, I can hardly remember any Hebrew at all. Translate some simple stuff for me:

"My name's Levi. I'm a student and I like school [high school, not a university]. Chemistry is my favorite subject. I normally have a lot of homework, which I just finished, so now I'm tired. I should go to sleep now because I have to run five kilometers tomorrow."

Thanks.[/quote]

Hi! I'm writing a book and the main character needs to say the following in ancient Hebrew:

"I've seen that before."

"Do you wish to continue speaking in English?"

"I feel ill."

"What should have been soon shall be"

For that, I have the following:

"Mah sha'mor l'heyot yhehyeh b'karov"

Is that correct? I know, by themselves, they don't make sense.

Thanks in advance!

I am still perfecting idiom, trying to use Hebrew as effectively as I do English, knowing every turn of phrase. Would someone either confirm for me or displace my notions of how to render the following into Hebrew?
My beloved GOD
[I know at once how to say "My beloved", "My GOD", and "Beloved GOD", but feel unsure about adding a first person singular possessive to a compound like "Beloved GOD".]
I pray to you
[I can phrase something similar a few different ways in Hebrew, but wish to parallel, if possible, this particular English idiom.]
above all else
All of the members of my one body as a single substantive unit.
[How does placing 4 words such as "all", "members", "one", and "(my)body" effect every last ending?]
And, to the last phrase, if I wished to append the extended description:
both living and healthy, how would this effect the endings of the series of nouns and adjectives?

"My beloved", I know, is dodhiy
"My ELOHIM" `ELOHAY
How different ways can I say "My beloved ELOHIM"?

Is there a Hebrew word spelled ...

OR

tuf - raysh - vuv ?

Or is either of those a name?
