I can see a scenario back in the mid-90s when a bunch of boys from the Chamber of Commerce in Albuquerque were sitting around drinking heavily, and bullshitting one another, and one of them says: "Hey, if we have any real influence, we could get Gary Johnson elected governor." Everybody laughs their respective asses off, basically saying "Come on, be serious." They sit around quietly for a while, and another one of them says: "You know . . . i bet we could."
Thanks all for the feedback. I was curious about the general reaction to Johnson and his position on issues and I got it.
What scares me the most is that the average citizen does not know the difference between a conservative and a libertarian.
I'll vote by mail but will sleep through the election.
