A 'ladette' is "a feisty, outgoing woman; a young women who behave in a boisterously assertive or crude manner and engage in heavy drinking sessions". (Oxford Concise Dictionary)

Maybe there's an increase in the number of schoolgirl "ladettes" because they aren't graduating with their peers so remain in school...? Confused
