Hibiscus plants could protect against heart problems

I heard on the radio on my way to my day centre(disabled) that hibiscus plants(at least I think that what I heard) could be useful in the battle against heart attacks.

The flowers have been used in tea, I think they have vitamin c in significant quantities.

I think I saw a header for this on yahoo news page, but I seldom pursue yahoo health stories that contain the words "may" and "might."
