Man sets house on fire trying to kill mosquito
A Japanese man set his parents' house on fire as he tried to get rid of a mosquito.
Police say the property was gutted in the blaze caused by Tatsuo Onishi lighting a cigarette after spraying pesticide outside. Sparks from his lighter caused an explosion after igniting the flammable particles in the air and flames quickly spread to the building in Matsuyama.
Mr Onishi had been taking a nap inside his car parked outside his home when the mosquito began to annoy him, reports the Mainichi Daily News website. The 22-year-old attempted to exterminate the insect by spraying the area immediately outside the house.
He suffered minor burns to his face and neck in the incident. Nobody else was hurt.
One consolation for unlucky Tatsuo is that police believe the mosquito was killed in the fire.
I'm wondering if the flammable spray he used was really meant to kill insectsÂ…it sounds like it was pretty powerful stuff.

The article said that he was in his car taking a nap...maybe he sprayed carburetor cleaner instead
I bet he'll never do that again.
He must have a relative in Waterloo Iowa.

he got the little bastidges, didn't he? job well done...
A man in Nashua N.H. set his house on fire yesterday because he called the police to report drug activity by someone who lived in the house.
When the police said they would send a patrolman instead of the drug officer he requested he set the couch on his porch on fire. The house was gutted and his elderly mother was trapped in the back of the house and would have died but for the next door neighbor who ran into the fire to get her.
The police said the found no evidence of drugs.

Did they check in his system?
