@edgarblythe,
I don't get calling it "Trump Care". Trump told Congress to repeal and replace. If anything, it's Republican Care or Ryan Care.

@McGentrix,
Yeah, but ACA is called Obamacare - not Democrat care.

Obama was the spokesman for it and sold it as his landmark achievement. Trump's just trying to quell his base... I assume Trumpcare will stick, but just saying is all.

@McGentrix,
The result from Obamacare:
But wait: Why would we mess around with projections? We have real numbers! Erm, yes, we have … too many numbers. We have a poll from Gallup, which suggests that the number of uninsured people has fallen from a high of 18 percent in 2013 to 11 percent today, which would give us about 22 million people. The latest data from the Centers for Disease Control suggests that the number of uninsured has declined roughly 22 million since 2013, and 17.8 million since 2010 (darn you, financial crisis!). And today we got data from the Census Bureau, which suggests that the number of uninsured people has fallen from 13.3 percent to 9.1 percent since 2013, or by about 12.8 million. There are other surveys too. But we hardly need more numbers.

What would happen under Trumpcare:
Trumpcare would repeal most tax increases and curtail subsidies. Insurance coverage, by the CBO's reckoning, will fall. The CBO estimates that in 2026, 52 million Americans will be uninsured, an increase of 24 million over the 28 million who would lack insurance under Obamacare.

The only thing wrong with Obamacare, it did not grant universal coverage. Trumpcare will only be great if you are 1. healthy 2. wealthy. For the rest of us, not so much.

Makes you wonder why they want to give the wealthy more money with bigger tax cuts.

This is the problem with you liberals, you think someone else's money is yours. They aren't giving anyone money when they cut taxes, they are letting them keep more of their own money, why is that so hard for you leftists to understand? Why don't we raise your taxes to pay for more things, if you think it's such a grand idea to increase taxes, I expect you to be the first in line for that tax increase. If you aren't willing to pay more, then stop insisting others pay more.

@edgarblythe,
Yea. Under Trumpcare, 24 million will lose their health insurance. How is it possible that he will win a second term? He's still on a lying binge, and look at all the people who still support him. Even women. Crazy world.

@edgarblythe,
Will those 24 million who lost their health insurance vote for Trump? It's not a matter of "no," it's a matter of how many.

Why do you keep using this false claim? You fail to mention how many of those people would not be insured because they don't want insurance and only currently have insurance because if they didn't have it they would face a fine/fee/tax from the IRS.

"Don't want health insurance?" ROFLMAO
What alternate universe do you live at?
You'll change your tune once you reach old age when most people begin to use health care.

Why do you think comment applies to me? I have no problem having health insurance, the comment applies to others who want a choice and yes those people exist, it's mostly going to be young single people with no children.

@Baldimo,
Many are too young and ignorant to understand that they will be free from needing medical care. They will understand once they start a family and their baby gets sick.

There it is, the real liberal motto in black and white! "You are to stupid to understand what is good for you..."

There is that "too stupid to understand" crap again. They knew what they were doing. They were healthy and had no need to see a Dr., now that they are married and having kids, they will have insurance. You confuse individual people with a family dynamic. People are smarter than you give them credit for. People should be given a choice, why are you anti choice?

@cicerone imposter,
I used to work for a man who owned among other things a two and a half story multiplex rental, a strip center, drug store - not sure how much he owned. He put away a sizable nest egg, saving his entire working life. One year he and his wife each needed an operation and their money was wiped out, in a matter of a few months.

Do you know the difference between ignorant and stupid? Probably not. You are too stupid.
