--If you could, would you please trade places with your sister?
--Yeah, she's got it made.
==============================
What does "got it made" mean?
The expression "got it made" or "has it made" means that someone is successful, and possibly that one didn't succeed by one's own efforts or merit.
Hi Mac,
Did you mean his sister has successfully exchange the places with him?
In addition, do you think what 'place" most likely means here?
I believe that he means that he would happily change places with his sister because she is rich.
Thanks.
The place means "dwelling"?
PS. What made you deemed that his sister is rich?
No, to change places does not refer to a specific place such as a dwelling. It is more general.
In my first response, I referred to being successful. Successful doesn't necessarily mean rich, but it is implied.
Excellent explanation! Thanks Phoenix.
