But even though the votes have been recounted so many times that it just doesn't matter anymore, Bush ended up winning every recount. Does that matter a bit to you?

No it does not matter. Those recounts were not done under a reliable watch dog so to speak so whatever those results were is after the fact and so are immaterial.

I'll tell you what though; if Bush actually gets elected in November I will consider him my representative and my president even though it will turn my stomach to do so.

It just never ends: Bush's body language
It just never ends: Bush's body language - he pledges allegiance to his belly button.

Oh, well. I'm pretty sure the Aussie's had already figured out we have an idiot manchild for president, so no face lost at this point. "

Speaking as an Aussie, yes, we have figured that out. Your president and our PM make a good team, both idiot manchilds.

As for your lovely President's Bushspeak;

"I hope you leave here and walk out and say, 'What did he say?'" ?-George W. Bush, Beaverton, Oregon, Aug. 13, 2004

Here here.

'Families is where our nation finds hope, where wings take dream.'

'I know how hard it is for you to put food on your family.'

'They misunderestimated me.'

'Rarely is the question asked: Is our children learning?'

"As you know, we don't have relationships with Iran. I mean, that's ?- ever since the late '70s, we have no contacts with them, and we've totally sanctioned them. In other words, there's no sanctions ?- you can't ?- we're out of sanctions." ?-George W. Bush, Annandale, Va, Aug. 9, 2004

"Earlier today, the Libyan government released Fathi Jahmi. She's a local government official who was imprisoned in 2002 for advocating free speech and democracy." ?-George W. Bush, citing Jahmi, who is a man, in a speech paying tribute to women reformers during International Women's Week, Washington, D.C., March 12, 2004

"The march to war hurt the economy. Laura reminded me a while ago that remember what was on the TV screens ?- she calls me, 'George W.' ?- 'George W.' I call her, 'First Lady.' No, anyway ?- she said, we said, march to war on our TV screen." ?-George W. Bush, Bay Shore, New York, Mar. 11, 200

if Bush is elected again the English language will be in a large dung heap in the north pole buried under 2,000 tonnes of ice and will have several bullet holes in it. (ie the English language will die)

we will all be saying things like, "Hello, friend. Your company will be found in the friendship of my heart." Today, I am quite sure, it is quivering in fear......
