I can't seem to find any of those old bar songs online. You know, the ones with the bouncy piano tune that makes all the old timers want to get up and wave their fingers. Help appreciated!!!

@Oopan,
What you are describing could fall under Boogie Woogie, Ragtime, 12 Bar Blues, Honky Tonk, or old style rock & roll. It's kind of all intertwine. Are you looking for song titles and artists? If you google search any of these terms, I think you will find a wide range of what you are looking for. You can find quite a bit on youtube as well.

A few examples:

Jerry Lee Lewis (Great Balls of Fire)
Bill Haley (Rock Around The Clock)
Glen Miller (In The Mood)

Steve O'Donnels Wake

You ought to like this one. I first heard it 50 years ago in an Italian restaurant. Yeah, it was the vino, and they made up new verses as they went along.

@Real Music,
I don't want to be nit picky, but Glenn Miller was a big band song and although In the Mood had kids up and dancing in movie theaters, it wasn't honky tonk and it wasn't a piano centered tune. Spirited as hell, just not my idea of bar tunes.

I'm leaving this forum. Too much nit-picking. A lot of people not supportive. Not courteous. Hello to the polite people here. I hope things work out for you.
