Battery has 10 anodes and 10 cathodes all in series. Battery voltage 15 v (1.5 v/cell) and 6 amps, 90 watt potential. What applications would benefit most by mixing series and parallel connections? For instance, what is resulting amperage (realize watts are same) using 8 cells in series (12v and 6 amps) and 2 in parallel(1.5 v and 12 amps) and how would it be optimally applied?

@friday38,
Fri, I assume a series connection with the two banks, of course 13.5 v but see no advantage to the additional amperage for the two
