Can a 12v 33ah battery work with a 12v 35ah battery in a mobility scooter. I have a scooter which holds two batteries. They both are 33ah which are the original that came with the scooter. The problem I have is one of the battery was leaking acid, so I got rid of it. Now on the other hand the other one, is in excellent condition with no leaks and takes a strong charge. I don't want to get rid of a good battery, but the only thing that I'm finding on EBAY, AMAZON or anybody else selling these type of batteries are all selling 12v 35ah. I tried to find a 12v 33ah, but it seem like everybody upgraded to the 12v 35ah. Do I have buy two 12v 35ah batteries or can I get just one, and will it work with the 12v 33ah I already have on my scooter.

@tymekeeper62,
As long as the physical size and the electrical connections are reasonably in the same place, you can use a 33 A/hr battery and a 35 A/hr interchangeably. Make sure that any corrosion form the leaking battery is cleaned up.
