I am a first year latin student and our instructor gave us 10 sentances to translate into latin from english, and i am stumped with four of them and they are due tomorrow. HELP!!!!!!!

1. Let us hear about the departure of Publius and Furianus.

2. A great dinner was prepared, during which Publius' father spoke.

3. Then the father said, " Let my boy always remember that Romans are brave"

2. "Let him live a worthy life in Greece; let him remain dutiful and remember home and the gods."

I think he is just seeing what our prior knowlage is, but i want to impress him. please help soon. thank you, Publius Crying or Very sad Crying or Very sad Crying or Very sad

If you make his expectations too high, he'll expect more of you. Razz If I were you, I'd do an aweful job with those and then impress him with your quick learning the rest of the semester. Razz
