PUZZLED! Confused
You know i am chinese and you know the ideas of languages like chinese are initially from the real objects or shapes of nature.
But how about the language of Europe?
Like letters, How and why did the ancestors of Europe found the letters?

(maybe i shall also post it on the Histroy Forum? )

It is likely not appropriate to think that language was "created"--rather, i suspect it evolved from the need to communicate. It is also anachronistic to speak of "European" before the the Greeks and the legend of Zeus and Europa--it's hard to have Europeans when there was no Europe.

The creators of European languages were perhaps the same persons who said:
"I think I'll squeeze these dangly things here, and drink whatever comes out."
and later
"See that chicken there? I'm gonna eat the next thing that comes outta its butt."

The Early History of Indo-European Languages seems IMHO to be a better starting point for reading than with English
