Japan plans to develop a million giga computer

NEC crazily drops 450 yuan for N810 cell phone

Hospitable man regales old classmate Drinks till flowing "red tear"

(It is the classmate who drank wine till his eyes bleeding. But the title sounds the man drank)

No wine no meal 13-month-old girl's style

(The girl would not like to eat meal if there was no wine for her to drink.)

Man plays host to old classmates, the drink flows freely .... there isn't an equivalent expression in English to the red tears so I'm not sure how to phrase that

No wine no meal for 13 month old girl (an alcoholic at 13months?)

sorry, I didn't notice that one but now I've looked I don't quite understand it

drops - has the value of the company dropped? (NEC is a company?) or have they paid that out to take over another company? or paid it for a phone service? the meaning isn't clear (to me anyway)

NEC = Nippon Electronic Company

"NEC crazily drops 450 yuan for N810 cell phone" means the company crazily made a drop in the price of its cell phone -- (model) N810, and the drop has been up to 450 yuan (about 53 USD) in China market.

oh I understand now.

well it is sort of correct as it is for a headline but not very clear to anyone who doesn't know what NEC or N810 are

NEC drastically cuts the price of the N810 cell phone

or

NEC cut 450 yuan from price of N810 phones

or attention grabbing

Drastic price cut - NEC reduce N810 phones byt 450 yuan

someone else may come up with a better version - that's the best I can do Confused

I like the rewriting:

NEC cut 450 yuan from price of N810 phones

It sounds simple and very clear.

Thanks.
