Is the semicolon use and grammatical structure in this sentence correct? How could I make it better?
I had a great time in your class; it helped me improve my presentation and communication skills significantly and has motivated me to develop them even further for the years to come.
A semicolon couples a dependent clause to an independent one, generally with a semicolon,and precedes therefore.
I eat; therefore I am.
