A center that serves as a place that promotes education and helps ideas exchange, can be called:

(1) extension and intercommunion center
(2) Education Promotion and Information Exchange Center
Or
Center for Education Promotion and Information Exchange
(3) None, I'd recommend you a proper one.

Good morning, O.

First, your question should be "Which one fits?"

I like
Center for Education Promotion and Information Exchange

but it seems too long to me and slightly redundant, education being a form of exchanging ideas, so

Center for Education Promotion.

In the states, we called it a Center for Continuing Education.

Thank you Joe for replying.

I felt remaining "exchange", for example "Center for Education Promotion & Exchange", can sound a little better for the spirit of opening.

BTW, do you feel "intercommunion" is religious? Or has the word in the context been beyond its religious meaning?
