I'm not on A2K that much but when I am I always check this thread -- my heart sank when I saw it had been updated, worried it was bad news. So sorry to see this, Butrflynet, and wishing you the best as you navigate this new reality.

Went for a walk today at a local park to feed ducks and take photos of wild flowers.

Noticed some of mom's minions doing the bumblebee boogie and thought I'd share it with those who would know what it is about.

This is a photo of mom and me at the same park in June, the last time we were able to go anywhere together that wasn't a hospital. Mom enjoyed the ducks but really struggled with the walking and refused to get in her wheelchair. I suspect she knew it would be the last time and didn't want to miss the opportunity.

I'm not on A2K much anymore, so I was happy to find this lovely thread, still moving along. You and your mother are among the very nicest of A2K members. It should be a comfort and a blessing, for you, to know that your mother is now at eternal rest.

With time, your sorrow will ease and life will attempt a return to normal. It takes time and patience, but you'll soon gather the strength to carry on.

May your mother's memory be always for you, a blessing.
