I don't know in what forum to ask this question
Did lands in FL go down in price after the tornado? Does anybody know?
Don't know if you mean raw land or home prices. Home prices are going through the roof(heh heh)
Our house has doubled in value in 2 years. Raw land is going up slower. Waterfront property is out of sight.
Hurricanes are a known fact of life in Florida. The information has already been discounted at the market, so to speak.
Har!
Actually, I think this part of the country beats everything for the relationship between land/housing costs and wages.
Incredibly high prices, and wages that would embarass an Arkansas motel owner.
We don't have much land out here, you know? Between Bureau of Land Management, National Forest Service, military reservations, and Indian reservations, there's not much left to go around. I guess that's the price of living with the world's best climate.
