anyone who's delicate and camped (are those two possible together) knows there are already portable female pee tubes (go girl is one brand) available

no big deal

best though is the non-gendered washrooms that more facilities are putting in now - we've got them at quite a few concert venues (opera house etc) now - one mixed line, in/out/in/out, very efficient

I have been a man for almost 5 decades. I don't remember ever seeing a men's public bathroom with only urinals.

When I was younger and still actively visiting rock concerts, the lines to the ladies room were extremely long and I used to always go to the guys lavatories. I used to yell in "woman coming through, be decent" - everyone laughed and I went for the next stall.

In Europe there are many unisex bathrooms and if you've ever been to the Oktoberfest, you know that you don't care one iota where you go as long as you make it in there...

I admit it -- I have used the men's room before when I really needed to go and there was a huge line for the ladies' room. There are stalls in men's room. Yes there are urinals but men do sometimes need to relieve themselves besides just peeing.

Really I've gone camping and never even heard of these pee tubes - I usually just go in the woods if I am really roughing it -- although most camp sites do have toilets.

I walked into the restroom at a nightclub one time, back in the day, and as I walked in I thought to myself, "wow, they really remodeled the restroom nicely, what with the lighted mirrors over the sinks, endless toilet stalls, very, very clean..." then I noticed the females looking at me as I walked passed them looking for the urinals, and that's when I realized I inadvertently entered the wrong restroom. I recall this happening twice during my clubbing days.

If my memory serves, there are toilets in Old Sacramento with signs pointing on the doors for the other sex. Not been there in several decades, so don't even know if they still exist.

I think, not sure, that Miller is female. We rarely agree, but do once in a while. This is not one of the times.

Meantime, as years have passed, I or we have tended to go to less major rock concerts and all that. Chain restaurants will tend to have the Ladies or Mens signs, now morphing over time, women/men, to symbols. Some of my favorite cafes, at least a few grocery stores, have one fairly big bathroom for one person at a time, labeled as Restroom. Which is simple and covers all of us.

Which reminds me, I should dig out a photo I took when a group of us girlfriends went to Las Vegas for one of the friend's birthdays. We stopped at a Highway Rest Stop (15?). Ladies (I think that was the word) had a second rather large sign, NO DOGS ALLOWED. A multiple meaning wordage.
