I met with an accident. I broke my left leg. Fortunately, my leg required no amputation.
Which sentence is correct to describe the situation?
My leg was not amputated.
My leg is not amputated.
My leg has not been amputated.
My leg had not been amputated.
Thanks.
@tanguatlay,
My leg was not amputated is the best one!
Since all the events occurred in the past and are complete, use the simple past tense (met with, broke, was not). The first two verbs are there for you to see.
@Tes yeux noirs,
Thanks, rhymer and Tes yeux noirs.
To me, I see this lulu as a plant. I see that person as a plant. I don't like planted takes by bots.
