From a grammar standpoint, what is wrong with this sentence?
ATEC, the Assistive Technology Exhibition and Conference, is right around the corner, and we hope to see you there!
@vincemo22,
or more specifically, is a comma needed after corner?
@vincemo22,
Vince, it's a choice but the trend is away from the comma when it doesn't substantially affect meaning
@vincemo22,
The comma after corner is right. Without it you have a run-on sentence. Why? Because "and we hope to see you there" is an independent clause.
(my understanding of grammar and punctuation; I don't know new trends)
