1) What are the differences between : typhoon , tornadoe, cycloon?

2 ) The tornadoe swept.........the island. ( through / throughout )

3) The Flu ( pandemic / epidemic ) spread .........the country. ( through / throughout ).

through and throughout both work, but mean different things

through means that it passed through, touching only those things in it's path...while throughout implies that it went in, and touched everything before leaving

you spelled tornado and cyclone wrong

a typhoon - same as a cyclone, but only applies to tropical storms, whereas cyclone can sometimes be applied to other things

tornado - also a whirlwind or hurricane. same as a cyclone, but it happens over land

cyclone - a rotating column of air/windstorm that is over water
