I am writing to seek help/advice for my friend's kid in China who has accidently drunk writing ink cardiac muscle damage and now is in life danger. The local doctor has identified benzene poison but currently has no resolution and the kid's condition is worsen.
Please let me know if you have any suggestions or general approaches. Thank you very much in advance.

According to this NIH article, recovery depends on how much was ingested and how quickly treatment was rendered.

I am going to assume treatment was not immediate.
There doesn't seem to be a lot which can be done now, apart from moving to a place where there is support and treatment for leukemia, which that web page says is one possible outcome. And that's one of the better outcomes. I am so sorry.
