Warm Salt water soak definitely works. Try with tea tree oil.
You will need

Salt Water
Toothbrush (tossed and replaced daily) (Buy at Dollar Tree or Family Dollar)
Paper towel
Tea tree oil
Cotton ball or soaked cotton swab
Breathable band-aid

After salt water soak brush underneath your toenail, pat dry, apply tea trea oil then band-aid.
Apply once or twice daily. You will be amazed at how fast your nailfungus will clear up.

@Isabela4,
You're right about the tea tree oil.

Good thing it is now available in so many places.

@ehBeth,
My wife has a running replacementorder with a homeopathic medicine place up North. I found tea tree works really well when used on cuts abrasions and bug bites
